Meeting Note

Good afternoon,

Thank you to everyone who came to our general meeting yesterday, it was great seeing you all! To those who were not able to attend, you were missed, and we hope you can join us at the next one. Please find attached the slide deck used, and a digital copy of the worksheet provided to all participants.

In addition, here are a couple of reminders and announcements:

1. All Nashville VOAD is highly encouraged to attend the Vibrant Heroes Reception on October 1st. This night is to celebrate all the amazing work that has been done in our community over the years. Get your tickets here! some text
   1. NOTE: If you are attending the conference, this event is included as part of your registration.
   2. Don't wait until the last minute to register for the conference! Reimbursement is still available for Nashville VOAD members and their team.
2. The Nashville VOAD structure is changing to a Board of Directors and nominations for officer positions will be open soon. Stay tuned for more information!
3. The members' portal has been completed - a separate email will be sent with instructions.
4. Please welcome the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services as our newest Nashville VOAD member organization! Nick Gau will serve as their primary representative.
5. Every organization with access to Charity Tracker must keep their information up to date. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Quintina Waller at quintina@thehopestationtn.org or me at nelly.perez@unitedwaygn.org.

7. In partnership with the TN Language Center, Hands On is hosting a workshop this Saturday about Intercultural Communication during Disasters. If you are interested in attending, register here!
